It's been awhile since I last posted something, and I'm too busy to get into that at the moment. Here's the question for all those who read this blasted blog: Have you ever had to cancel an event because no students signed up for it? This is my dilemma at the moment. My students are either out of town or don't have the money to go on BYOF weekend. I fear that I might have to cancel it. Your thoughts?

My thought is only cancel if it is the absolute last option and it's the only thing you can do. If not, keep it on. Have a blast with the students that can attend and pour into them. But, if you can't keep it because of finances or whatever else is pressing, then cancel. That's my 2 cents.
I have worked with youth for several years and there has been times where we have had to cancel events because of reasons such as that. Don't let it discourage you just plan something else for that time where those who are around can come and hang out. Maybe just chill or just plan something for another weekend. There is no harm. Sometimes plans change. Kids know we live in a changing world...I believe this weekend that you are talking about already passed, lol. Thus my comment is late. I need to come over here and read your blog more often I guess. I try to catch up with my friends blogs who don't always post on myspace but it is a lot harder with out something notifying me. Anywho, I have been praying for you. Are you ready to go to Texas?
